Hi, I’m Sandra,

Welcome
to Precious Paws,

Together with my family, I live in the beautiful countryside of Co. Cork (Fermoy) - surrounded by dogs, cats, horses, and even some cows. We have a keen passion for animals and they have always been part of our family. That’s exactly how we raise our puppies: with love, patience, and daily care.

Every puppy here grows up with warmth, familiar sounds, and gentle hands. This makes the transition to their forever homes so much easier and happier.

I have been a registered breeder since 2012. Our breeding practices are regularly inspected, and I’m glad that we always meet the highest standards.

For me, breeding is not just about raising puppies, it’s about giving them the best possible start in life, with both love and responsibility.

Nothing makes me happier than seeing my puppies thrive in loving homes.

If you are ready to welcome a new family member, I would be honored to guide you through the process.

  • At which age can I collect my puppy?
    Between 9–10 weeks of age.

    Are there fix collecting days?
    Yes. Fridays and Saturdays.

    Are the puppies vaccinated?
    Yes:

    • vaccinated up-to-date

    • dewormed several times

    • treated with Spot-On for parasite protection

    • with a veterinary health letter

Your puppy will also come to you:

    • well socialised and people-friendly

    • with current food (royal canine)

    • with a puppy comfort blanket

    • AND a small surprise

Can I visit my puppy before collection?
    Yes.
Once your puppy has been microchipped, at about the age of 7 weeks, visits can be arranged with an appointment.
In the meantime, you will receive updated photos/videos.

What should I prepare for the journey home?
Please make sure your puppy can travel home safely in the car. A secure transport crate is recommended, especially if you are coming alone, but it is not mandatory. Your puppy may also travel on someone’s lap, as long as they are held securely and safely. Remember: collection day is very exciting and tiring for your puppy – safety comes first.

Can the puppy be exported abroad?
Yes, this is possible – please discuss details with me in advance.

  • If you would like to read a “Puppy Care Guide” (from Royal Canin), just ask me - i will be happy to send it to you via WhatsApp.

    What about feeding?
We recommend keeping the puppy on the same food he/she is used to for the first weeks. Food and Guidance will be given at collection.

What should I do in the first days at home?
Keep things calm, give your puppy time to settle, and avoid overwhelming them with too many new impressions. Puppies need a lot of sleep to stay healthy and happy. If you have children, please make sure they understand that the puppy must have regular quiet times and is not a toy.
It is parents responsibility to ensure that the puppy can rest undisturbed and gets plenty of sleep.

    Do you recommend training?
    Yes.
Early training and socialisation are very important for a balanced and happy dog. That also will make everyday life much easier and more enjoyable for you and your family.

    ⚠️Important:
Please again remember – puppies are babies!
They need plenty of rest, so please don’t overstrain your puppy.

  • Not at all.
Every puppy in a litter is special and loved from the very beginning.

All of our puppies are vet-checked and come with a written health confirmation.
If there were ever a concern, we would be completely up front about it!

Sometimes people think that “the first pick” means “the best puppy”.
It doesn’t work like that. All puppies are raised and cared for in the same way – there is no “better” or “worse” puppy. In reality, the order is simply a matter of timing and preferences:
some families prefer a calmer puppy, others a more lively one; some like the biggest puppy, others are drawn to the smallest.
So the puppy that is “last” for one family might easily have been the “first choice” for another family with different preferences.
That automatically makes another puppy the “last one”. But not because it is less healthy, less beautiful, or less lovable. It is only a question of sequence, not of quality.
That doesn’t make “the last one“ any less wonderful!

Just like in human families, puppies in the same litter can naturally vary in size and build. This is simply a matter of genetics, not quality.

Each puppy deserves a loving home, and the last puppy is just as healthy, happy and full of personality as the first.

In fact, many families later tell us that their puppy was the perfect match – no matter when or who chose before them.
Please also trust me and my experience.🐶❤️

    Please remember:
    Since I became a breeder in 2012,
NO puppy has ever been returned because of color, gender, or not being loved enough.
Once they are in your arms, they are part of your heart. 💕

  • Do I choose my puppy freely?
Of course, I will take your wishes into account.
The final selection will always be made together with me. From experience, once visitors are here and have several puppies in their arms, they often fall in love all over again, which can make their original choice uncertain.
That’s why many are grateful when I guide them in choosing the puppy that truly suits them.

    Why choose my puppies?
Choosing a breeder is a matter of trust!

I understand that it can be difficult to know who is truly responsible and transparent, especially when you hear worrying stories about breeding in general.
With us, you will receive clear structures, documented health checks, honest communication, and the reassurance that your puppy is raised with love, care and responsibility.

From Your First Call to Bringing Your Puppy Home

  • Inquire about a Puppy - Contact Sandra on WhatsApp

The choice is yours. Feel free to call me via WhatsApp or send a message.

This is where we get to know each other and I learn more about your family, lifestyle, and what you are looking for in a puppy. It’s important to me that each puppy goes to the right home.

This first step is very important, because not every family is the right fit for every puppy – and not every puppy for every family.

  • Reserve a Puppy

If we feel you are the right person to get a puppy after our communication, of course you can get pictures. Then you can decide whether to place a deposit for the reservation.

    Every family is different.

Some wish to reserve a puppy as quickly as possible, because they are afraid the puppies might soon be all reserved.

Others wish to research further and then get back in touch.

    THE CHOICE IS YOURS

  • Meet your Puppy

You will be invited to see the puppies at about the age of 7 weeks old.

Please understand that I also protect my family’s private life – otherwise, many future owners would love to spend every day with their puppy before taking them home.

To make the waiting time easier, we will share photos and videos of the puppies development on WhatsApp.

  • Pick up your New Family Member

The BIG day has arrived – the moment you welcome your puppy into your family.

Your puppy will be vet-checked, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed and treated with parasite protection.
You will receive all documentation (vaccination card, health letter and microchip certificate).

To welcome your puppy into your home, you will also receive a little welcome gift, plus food and a puppy comfort blanket.

This is always a very special moment, full of joy, love, and the beginning of a lifelong friendship.

"And if you’d like, I’d be delighted to receive a few photos as your puppy develops and settles into your family."
